Client projects

I love diving into the person behind the assignment. Who are you? What drives you? Why are you looking for this, specifically? By truly listening, observing, and asking the right questions, I uncover the essence of what resonates deeply. That’s how I create something that not only fits the client — but also tells a story that connects and lingers.

Publiekswijs het handboek

This handbook was developed for journalistic editorial teams to offer an accessible and approachable way to engage the public in journalism. The project was commissioned by the SVDJ Incubator.

Eigenweizen Deugniet Rabauw beer

More recently, I had the pleasure of working with Rabauw Beer on a deeply human project: translating the story of one of their loyal employees into an illustration for a beer can. Through a personal interview, I was invited to capture his essence — not just in words, but in image. It was the kind of work that reminds me why I do this: it’s about connection, storytelling, and celebrating individuality through design.

Scarab Jewelry box

Commissioned by Studio Noa Verhofstad, I had the opportunity to create concept designs and detailed sketches for a unique jewelry box for jewelry artist Bibi van der Velden. Inspired by the enchanting world of her jewelry, I designed a piece that reflects the magical creatures and storytelling elements woven into her work. Through intricate drawings and creative exploration, I aimed to bring depth and character to this special piece, ensuring it became more than just a jewelry box—an artwork in itself, capturing the wonder and imagination of Bibi’s universe.

Jellyfish Artdisplay

Commissioned by Studio Noa Verhofstad, I had the opportunity to create the concept and artwork for this mesmerizing jellyfish display, designed to showcase the extraordinary jewelry of Bibi van der Velden. Inspired by the fluidity and ethereal beauty of jellyfish, I aimed to capture a sense of movement, mystery, and wonder—echoing the organic forms and magical creatures often found in Bibi’s designs.

What started as a series of sketches and ideas evolved into a breathtaking final piece that I am truly proud of. Seeing the vision come to life, blending artistry with craftsmanship, has been an incredibly rewarding process. This display is more than just a setting for jewelry; it’s an immersive experience that brings Bibi’s world of imagination and nature to life.

Society 5.0 Festival

For the past three years, I’ve had the honor of designing the visual identity for the Hogeschool van Amsterdam’s Society 5.0 Festival — a dynamic event at the intersection of design, journalism, and technology. Each edition is an invitation to push creative boundaries, and I’m grateful for the trust and freedom they’ve given me to explore bold ideas and bring fresh perspectives to life.
